How does Mystery Escape City work?
Buy a ticket, head to the starting point, and open the app. It guides you between real locations around the city where you solve clues and puzzles using what you find there.
How do I play?
Each player enters their ticket code on their own device. The first person to start gets a group code — everyone else enters that to join the same game.
Are there specific days or times I can play?
No. Games run on your schedule. Daylight is recommended for games that involve spotting details in the environment.
How much does it cost?
Tickets are $5 per device. Up to 10 devices can play a single game together.
Do I need to bring anything?
A charged phone and comfortable shoes. Games involve walking outdoors, so dress for the weather.
How long does a game take?
Most games run 60–90 minutes, but there is no timer — take as long as you like, and stop for a snack if you want.
What if my phone loses signal?
The app downloads the whole game when you start, so you can keep playing without a connection. Your progress syncs once you are back online.
What if the camera puzzles will not unlock?
Phone compasses drift, especially near metal. Every camera puzzle has a written alternative you can solve from the same spot — tap 'Having trouble?' to switch to it.
